2. The para-4 of the letter after deleting the term uplift may be read as under:
'It is therefore, requested that Punjab School Education Department (School Education) Service Rules, 2014 notified vide Notification No.SOR-II (S&GAD) 1-19/2004 (P) dated 14-03-2014 be observed in letter and spirit while determining seniority, awarding promotion to the teachers'.
